Welcome to Dr. Lee Reichman, the seventh Dr. to join the expanding group at the Richmond Goulbourn Medical Centre!
♦ Dr. Lee Reichman, MDMC, CCFP
Dr. Reichman is from Montreal, Quebec and completed medical school at McGill University in 2012. She then completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Ottawa at The Ottawa Hospital (General Campus) and the Bruyère Family Health Team. She enjoys all aspects of comprehensive family medicine and has a particular interest in pregnancy, labour and delivery, care of the newborn and women’s health (including menopause and reproductive health). To supplement her knowledge, she completed extra training at McGill University in the Maternal and Child Care enhanced skills program.
For the past year she has been very lucky to be able to cover a practice of 900 patients at the West Carleton Family Health Team in Carp. She is looking forward to starting her own practice at the Richmond Goulbourn Medical Centre in mid-June. Her practice will include intrapartum care (i.e. delivering babies!) at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. She will also provide home visits for patients with difficulty getting to the clinic as well as palliative care for her patients requiring this service. She also offers appointments for IUD insertions and small office-based procedures. Her goal is to offer compassionate and accessible care to her patients for all their healthcare needs at all stages of life.
