July 6, 2019 – Opioid & Overdose Awareness

The Richmond Ag Society would like to invite you to an opioid/overdose awareness session on Saturday July 6th from 6-7pm in the Ag Society Dining Hall. Our own Georgeta Botchkan from the Richmond Village Pharmacy will lead this session.

You will receive training on how to use Naloxone in the case of an overdose. Free kits will be available. There is no charge to attend and is simply a way to get the message out regarding having fun while being safe this summer and fall. In the last year we have had two incidents in Richmond. As part of the Fair that takes the safety of our clients seriously, we should all have this training. It is very informative, there is no test. Anyone can do this and possibly save a life. Please join us.

Please rsvp to Gerd Lohmann at [email protected] so we know how many kits to bring. We would love to see you at this important educational event.
